The Information Systems Newsletter, produced twice a year, keeps you in touch with the Jindal School’s Information Systems Area. The area coordinator highlights recent developments of special note in his opening message. Forthcoming events are called to your attention, and past events are recapped. Programs, corporate outreach efforts, faculty and alumni research, and student organizations are featured. News from and about students, faculty and alumni is included as well.

ITS Newsletter – Summer 2019
The Information Systems Area at UT Dallas is holding steady, both in terms of rankings and enrollments. It is still early in the process, so our master’s programs could matriculate as many students in fall 2019 as we did a year ago, and our undergraduate program could grow, too.

The Information Systems Area at UT Dallas will start the 2018-19 academic year where the previous one left off — enrollment remains vibrant with each of our three programs expecting to have around 800 students in the fall, while research productivity remains in first position based on publications in Information Systems Research and MIS Quarterly combined (UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings™) for the 2016-18 period.

We have completed a record 2016-2017 academic year in the Information Technology and Systems (ITS) programs at UT Dallas. Graduates of our BS program are in high demand, with placement rates exceeding 90 percent within three months of graduation. This fall, we expect to have more than 600 students in the ITS program.

ITS Newsletter – Spring 2016
We have completed a record 2015-2016 academic year in the Information Technology and Systems (ITS) programs in the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas. Our student enrollment grew substantially, with the totals in the MS in Information Technology and Management (ITM) program rising to 1,055 students and our BS in Information Technology and Systems program increasing to 450. Graduates of our programs are in high demand, with placement rates of our MS in ITM alumni exceeding 95 percent within three months of graduation.
