Why study at UT Dallas?

The ITS curriculum at UT Dallas includes the study of efficient design, delivery and use of information systems in an organizational context. Elective courses allow students to specialize in a particular area of information systems such as enterprise resource planning or business intelligence and analytics. A capstone course in the program allows students to apply information technology and systems to solve real-world business problems.

The ITS capstone course is designed to give our ITS students the opportunity to work with real-world, Fortune 500 companies to gain valuable experience while earning academic credit. Students have completed projects with Texas Instruments, AT&T and others. This experience is a great résumé builder, can provide valuable interview “talking points” and will allow you to begin making professional connections in DFW. Most importantly, through this class you will have an opportunity to work with and learn from those doing the type of work that you are preparing to perform after graduation.
