Jason is the director of BA 1105 and BA 3105, required courses to help undergraduate students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed academically and professionally. He also leads the Business Communication Center, which is dedicated to fostering effective communication, academic success, and professional readiness by harnessing the latest AI technologies in synergy with students’ own creative and critical thinking abilities. Before transitioning to higher education, Jason worked in talent acquisition and campus recruiting at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Allstate. He later served as a Career Development Specialist and Associate Director in the JSOM Career Management Center, where he provided individualized guidance to help students refine and strengthen their internship search strategies.

With an MA in English Literature and a background in tutoring, Lauren assists students in class assignments, presentations, ethical use of generative AI, and other written and verbal communication tasks. Lauren also facilitates professional development workshops every semester and oversees the BCC tutors. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment that allows students to grow into confident and effective professional communicators.

Aaron coaches Jindal School students in the areas of Business English (ESL), Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategies, Critical Thinking, and Qualitative Research/Writing. He holds an M.A. in English as a Second Language and a Ph.D. in the History of Ideas. As an instructor, he brings professional experience ranging from the manufacturing sector to scientific translation and technical editing, as well as published writing in the fields of journalism, history, and philosophy.

Nikki serves as the Teaching Assistant for BA 1105 & BA 3105 – Professional Development for JSOM Undergraduates. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Information Technology and Management (MSITM) program, beginning in Spring 2025 with the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship Award. Her career goals include pursuing roles as an IT Manager and Analyst, while remaining open to opportunities in IT consulting and entry-level IT engineering. Throughout her academic journey, Nikki has actively contributed to group projects in areas such as Accounting, Agile Project Management, Object-Oriented Programming in Python, Digital Product Management, Technology Strategies, and New Product Development.

Andrea is a first-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics with a minor in Political Science. After graduation, she plans to pursue a Juris Doctor and become a corporate lawyer. Currently, Andrea is focused on assisting BA 1105 and BA 3105 students with their class assignments and presentation skills.
