At the end of the spring semester, many awards are given to students who stand out for their contributions to UT Dallas. In April, two Naveen Jindal School of Management students were recognized for their exemplary involvement.
Amanda Pereira, received the campus Student Employee of the Year Award from the Career Center during National Student Employment Week. This award honors students showing professionalism, work ethic and performance at their on campus jobs with the University. Amanda, a senior business administration and biology double major, works as a tutor in JSOM’s Business Communication Center.
Mikayla Garvey received the Rising Star Award during the UT Dallas Student Leadership Awards. This award honors a student in the beginning years of their leadership experience at UT Dallas who has demonstrated exemplary leadership abilities. Mikayla, a freshman studying global business, also holds a position at the University in the Office of Administration.
