Internships are available for students desiring work experience in the healthcare field. There are four sources for internships:
- A select number of positions are offered by healthcare organizations every semester to UTD graduate students. Contact the MS in Healthcare Leadership and Management program director for details.
- Students may establish their own internship with a healthcare organization.
- Occasionally, a healthcare organization desiring an intern for a specific project will contact the program director. These opportunities are sent to student healthcare club members.
- The Career Center has internship positions listed.
Requirements for the internship:
- Student must have completed 12 hours of the master’s degree program.
- Student will apply directly to the internship sponsor.
- Up to 3 hours of degree credit may be earned.
