What if I really like this mentor and want to continue this mentoring relationship after the semester is over?

This is something you and your mentor work out together. If your mentor agrees, you may remain in this mentoring collaboration after the semester ends. However, you might consider finding a new mentor during the following academic year to gain a different perspective. You must, in any event, ask your mentor if he/she is willing to continue to serve in a mentor role for you.
