Biography
Dr. Michael Hasler has been an Associate Professor of Finance at University of Texas at Dallas since 2019, and was an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto from 2013 to 2019. His research investigates how information acquisition, disagreement among investors, and learning mechanisms impact investors’ trading strategies and asset prices. He has published in the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Monetary Economics, and Management Science.
