Financial Aid
The United States Department of Education requires institutions which participate in federal student financial aid programs to provide information regarding expenses the average student incurs while attending their programs. These additional expenses are not usually charged by the institution but instead are part of the cost of living for the period of enrollment. This information is used when calculating the maximum amount of financial aid a student may receive. When reviewing these expenses you should bear in mind that most, if not all, of these expenses are incurred whether or not you are enrolled in a graduate program. The following figures assume you are registered as a full-time student and that you are living in a house or apartment off-campus.
