Internship at Springer Capital Investments LLC – Fall 2024

During my internship as a Data Automation Analyst at Springer Capital Investments, I developed critical technical skills and gained valuable exposure to the field of data analytics. This opportunity allowed me to contribute to a variety of impactful projects, including workflow automation, designing intelligent solutions for process automation, and the creation of IDE dashboards. These experiences pushed me to expand my technical knowledge and fostered personal and professional growth. One of my primary responsibilities was designing and implementing both cloud-based and desktop Power Automate flows. This hands-on experience gave me a deeper understanding of process optimization and demonstrated the significant role automation plays in enhancing operational efficiency. By automating repetitive tasks, I streamlined workflows, saved valuable time and resources, and empowered the team to focus on high-priority objectives. In parallel, I developed Power BI reports that transformed complex datasets into visually intuitive dashboards and reports. These visualizations were instrumental in uncovering key trends, identifying new opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. This aspect of my role sharpened my data visualization skills and reinforced the importance of presenting insights in a clear, actionable manner to drive results. Additionally, I conducted detailed analyses using Excel tools such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and scenario management. These tools, combined with SQL techniques like JOIN operations, subqueries, and data aggregation, enabled me to process and analyze large datasets effectively. My work involved identifying patterns, generating meaningful insights, and creating actionable recommendations. This experience strengthened my analytical expertise and highlighted the importance of precision and attention to detail in data-driven environments. Beyond technical responsibilities, I had the opportunity to engage with experienced professionals whose mentorship provided invaluable industry insights. These interactions not only broadened my understanding of data analytics but also reinforced the value of building strong professional relationships. Their guidance helped me navigate complex challenges and highlighted the role of collaboration and networking in career development. I owe much of my success to my manager, Andrew Isaac Rosenthal, whose exceptional leadership and mentorship played a pivotal role during my internship. His constructive feedback and encouragement enabled me to refine my skills and deliver impactful results. I am truly grateful for his support and guidance throughout this journey. My time at Springer Capital Investments was transformative, providing me with hands-on experience in data automation, visualization, and analysis. The skills I acquired, along with a broader understanding of how data informs business decisions, have inspired me to continue pursuing excellence in the field of data analytics. As I work toward completing my Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence at The University of Texas at Dallas, I am eager to apply the lessons I have learned and make meaningful contributions to the data analytics industry. This internship has solidified my passion for leveraging data to drive impactful business outcomes. UT Dallas BS Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence #UTDBSBUAN #JSOMINTERN #JSOM
