This Fall, my journey at Deloitte proved to be a transformative experience, immersing me in the intricacies of enterprise solutions tailored to the Government and Public Services (GPS) sector. Building on the foundational knowledge I gained through my graduate coursework, I had the opportunity to address real-world challenges, optimizing HR, Finance, and Supply Chain functions for public sector clients through advanced enterprise systems. My role involved significant contributions to planning, process design, configuration, testing, and deployment of enterprise systems. These efforts included designing and configuring finance and procurement-to-pay processes that adhered to public sector standards, as well as supporting hire-to-retire workflows to streamline onboarding and benefits integration for our clients. Additionally, I played a key role in implementing secure third-party integrations with vendors for benefits and payroll services, ensuring smooth data exchange while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. A major focus of my work revolved around enterprise-wide data integration projects. I facilitated seamless and efficient data flows between systems, enabling decision-makers to access real-time insights. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, I contributed to the development of enterprise reporting and dashboard solutions, delivering data-driven analytics that empowered organizations to make informed strategic decisions. Working within Agile delivery environments provided me with valuable experience in collaborative settings. From sprint planning to user acceptance testing, I closely engaged with business, functional, and technical teams to understand and address integration needs. This collaborative approach ensured the successful execution of system implementations that met the unique requirements of public sector clients. I also managed enterprise data frameworks, where accuracy, security, and accessibility were paramount. My tasks included supporting data management activities to maintain system integrity, developing detailed technical design documents from functional specifications, and configuring security protocols to safeguard sensitive HR and financial data in compliance with government regulations. Reflecting on this journey, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to projects that enhance enterprise-wide efficiency and effectiveness. This experience has deepened my understanding of enterprise solutions, allowing me to blend technical expertise with functional insights, all within a supportive and collaborative environment. I look forward to refining my skills and making an even greater impact in enterprise systems and data integration in the days to come at Deloitte. Reflecting on My Fall Internship Experience at Lennox International Inc. During the Fall 2024 semester, I had the privilege of continuing my internship journey with Lennox International Inc. in the Controls Quality & Testing division.
During my internship as a Data Automation Analyst at Springer Capital Investments, I developed critical technical skills and gained valuable exposure to the field of data analytics. This opportunity allowed me to contribute to a variety of impactful projects, including workflow automation, designing intelligent solutions for process automation, and the creation of IDE dashboards.
Project Achievements and Insights I recently had the opportunity to do a special project at Fort Aquatics & Gymnastics, where I utilized web analytics to help improve the company’s marketing strategy. This project allowed me to apply my technical skills, leverage tools like Google Ads, Excel, Python, and Tableau, and provide actionable recommendations to help strengthen the company’s advertising performance.
My internship at LBS Dallas, LLC, was a great experience that helped me develop essential skills and learn more about tax accounting. During my time there, I prepared business and personal tax returns using Drake Software, reconciled accounts in QuickBooks Desktop, and worked on creating financial reports.
