Although a traditionally male-dominated field, the Executive MBA programs at the Naveen Jindal School of Management are helping shift the female-to-male workforce ratio in supply chain and compliance by providing high-quality education to the future female business leaders of the world. Meet three of our very accomplished EMBA students and alumni who are currently driving value for their companies and enjoying successful careers in the supply chain management industry in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Bonnie Hooker

This specialist in Supply Chain Process and Technology Innovation is passionate about the journey of life and a current participant in the EMBA program with a targeted graduation date of 2019. Bonnie Hooker currently holds the position of Sr. Director of Supply Chain Systems with Dal-Tile Corporation. She has overall responsibility for developing and leading the technology strategy throughout the Supply Chain Cycle and driving meaningful solutions to serve internal and external customers. Bonnie is known for being a strategic leader with a hands-on approach to operational management who leads by example.

Bonnie is especially skilled in providing vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives and guiding the Supply Chain Team in understanding system-driven initiatives while representing the technology needs and interests for all Supply Chain functions. One of her reports called her: “pretty much the perfect manager who gave me the freedom to work independently but was always available whenever I needed advice and seemed to know just when her assistance was needed.” One of Bonnie’s previous managers at ITT stated that everyone who worked with her at ITT "found her enthusiasm and dedication, both inspiring and motivating."

Bonnie has put her ability to positively influence others to work while serving as an SAP Consultant at iT Services 2, a Project Manager and Global Business Manager for ITT, and an IT Manager for CHEP. She is a Texas CPA and certified PMP, and she holds a BS in Accounting from the University of North Texas and intends to “continue building on my journey, to the best life offers.”

Leslie Mitchell

This accomplished alumna is also employed with the Dal-Tile Corporation in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and has been for 15 years. Currently acting as Director of Supply Chain Planning, Leslie Mitchell earned her EMBA from UT Dallas in 2015. Her previous position as Material Planner for Alcatel USA began in 1999, one year prior to her graduation from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management of Information Systems.

Leslie is certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and is proficient in Process Improvement, Purchasing, and Inventory Management. She shares her passion for education by volunteering with the Dallas Independent School District, reading to elementary school children and discussing the benefits of a college education.

Erinn earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Penn State University Smeal College of Business in 1991. This enthusiastic professional with experience in Business Management, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, and Auditing who lists her key traits as “results-oriented, self-motivated, team player, attention to detail with the ability to think strategically” lives by the motto – “I am the one that gets it done.” This is clearly evidenced by her ability to maintain a demanding career while also finding time to volunteer for two animal welfare groups and the Young Men’s Service League of Dallas.
