Scholarships at the Jindal School of Management
The Jindal School of Management (JSOM) provides scholarship funds to highly qualified undergraduate and graduate students who are selected by the Scholarship Committee in both the Fall and Spring Semesters. The majority of our scholarships are $1,000 merit-based scholarships granted once per academic year. In this way, we are able to leverage Texas-resident tuition status for the entire academic year for the maximum number of students. Each scholarship has specific requirements and may include: academic merit, classification, residency status, community service, student organization/campus involvement, leadership, work experience, etc.
The JSOM Scholarship Committee reviews applications and, depending on the availability of funds, makes awards to the top-ranked candidates whom the Committee determines best satisfy the scholarship’s intent. For example, decisions to reward continuing students are made based on excellent academic performance, significant contributions to the success of one or more of the school’s extra-curricular organizations, special events, or programs. Scholarships are available at varying times of the year and some are not available every year. As scholarships become available, applications are posted.
