Jindal School’s Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance Adds Grant Thornton’s Nichole Jordan to Board

Richardson, Texas, May 11,2023–The Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas has added another Advisory Board member to its ranks.

  • Nichole Jordan: An award-winning leader with more than 25 years of experience, Nichole Jordan has helped deliver quality client results and record revenues for Grant Thornton LLP: one of the country’s largest audit, tax and advisory firms. In her current role as national managing partner of Geography, Nichole focuses on growth, talent engagement and culture, ultimately strengthening the service Grant Thornton provides clients in local markets across the country. Additionally, Nichole has served as a mentor, coach, volunteer and board member for many Dallas nonprofit organisations, and she is a longtime member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Nichole is NACD Directorship Certified and has been honoured as an NACD Directorship 100 Governance Professional for the last five years.

Nichole joins the institute’s existing group of esteemed Advisory Board members: Dennis Cagan, Mike Cherry, Kelly Harris, David J. Kohl, Stephen Konstans, Anthony J. LeVecchio, Harold MacDowell, Niki McCuistion, Albert McLelland, Abe Minkara, Brad Oates, Donald F. Robillard, Jr., Mark Sinclair and Don Springer.

The Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance is a membership-based organisation housed within UTD’sNaveen JindalSchool of Management. It focuses on both public and private company governance as well as governance of non-profit organisations. Its members strive to bring together top-level executives, current and prospective board members, investors and stakeholders.

Jindal School’s Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance Adds Three Board Members

Richardson, Texas, February 6, 2023 – The Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas has added three new Advisory Board members to its ranks.

  • Mike Cherry – Throughout his 30+ years of executive leadership, Mike has a proven track record of strategic vision, transformational leadership and executive corporate management, particularly in the energy space. He brings a wealth of board expertise in M&A, risk management, sound corporate governance, as well as talent identification and development.
  • Niki McCuistion – Niki utilizes her extensive, 30+ years of nonprofit experience as an executive coach, consultant, speaker, CEO, board member, television producer, author and instructor. She is dedicated to helping nonprofit leadership teams develop and implement strategies for sustainable growth and development.
  • Albert McLelland – Albert has spent his 30+ year career building, acquiring and transforming businesses as an entrepreneur, financial services executive and board member. He has served as an Independent Director for five public companies and was the Chairman of the Special Committee for the sale of China Fire (CFSG) to Bain Capital. Currently, he is serving as the Audit Committee Chairman for Breeze Holdings (BREZ).
