EMBA Alumni Chapter

The UT Dallas Jindal School Women’s Leadership Series was created in 2012 as a way to bring together women in business for networking opportunities and professional development. With session topics ranging from growing personal networks to understanding the issues that affect women in our workplace, this series has featured notable female leaders, oftentimes Jindal School alumnae, spanning industries. Topics are timely, relevant and designed to inspire thoughtful conversation.

Michelle Boit, GL’18
Michelle was recently promoted to senior production engineer working for the project management team in charge of delivering the Early Oil Pilot Scheme Project at Tullow Oil. Her responsibilities include constructing, commissioning and operating the production facility equipment for the project, which will deliver the first oil production in Kenya.

Oscar Chavarria, EMBA’13
Oscar has been promoted to division president with Medline Industries.

Patrick Cochrane, GL’14
Patrick recently transitioned to PepsiCo as south region routing manager, Routing Intelligence Center.

Brandon Cortez, EMBA 2014
The Jindal School recently featured Brandon in an advertisement in the May issue of D CEO magazine.

Alex Fauveau, GL’16
Alex is currently working as senior manager, finance, at Intrepid USA.

Joseph James, EMBA’10
The Jindal School recently highlighted Joseph in its online Alumni Spotlight. He also appears in the Alumni Notes section of the spring issue of Management magazine.

Matt Moseley, EMBA’10, MS‘12
Matt was recently elected to the board of directors for Trans-Trade Inc., a domestic and international logistics company, and was offered the CFO position. He formerly served as the controller at Trans-Trade. He appears in the Alumni Notes section of the spring issue of Management magazine.

William Rayburn, GL’09
William, a distinguished professor and associate dean at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, is chairman of the board of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. This council sets and enforces standards in physician continuing education (or “lifelong learning”) for more than 2,000 health institutions and organizations in the United States. He appears in the Alumni Notes section of the spring issue of Management magazine.

Doug Ring, EMBA’18
Doug was promoted to director of engineering and construction at AT&T.

Mahesh Shetty, EMBA’99
D CEO featured Mahesh as a top finance executive in Dallas. He appears in the Alumni Notes section of the spring issue of Management magazine.

Jonathan Silk, EMBA’11
Jonathan was recently featured in D CEO magazine for his entrepreneurial effort with Quicksmarts, a company providing organizational leadership development solutions.

Brent Slough, GL’18
Brent recently transitioned to mobilization manager with Team Rubicon, a nonprofit organization that supports the mobilization of volunteers from across the globe for disaster recovery.
