During new student orientations (Freshman, Transfer, International), students will work with advisors to register for the first semester at UTD. They will receive a tentative degree plan at this time; additionally, after a student has formalized registration for the first semester, their degree plan will be updated and made available for access through eLearning.

If I repeat a course at a community college that I have already taken at UTD, does the community college course grade replace the UTD grade?

No. Only courses taken at UTD will be calculated in a student’s cumulative or overall GPA. A student who wishes to repeat a course previously taken at UTD to improve a grade must repeat the course at UTD.
