How did DMHP enhance your UT Dallas experience?
The Davidson Management Honors Program (DMHP) helped prepare to me for a demanding and rewarding career in public accounting. I received the opportunity to volunteer, travel, attend luncheons and networking events, and work with the top faculty and students at UT Dallas. These opportunities helped me develop networking skills that now help me maintain my relationships in my career. I learned to thrive in challenging environments, communicate effectively, and produce high quality work. Most importantly, DMHP helped me value corporate citizenship and team development. I use these skills daily when I interact with clients, my teams, and management. I also use these skills to promote thriving team environments where team members respect individuality while providing quality results. DMHP provided me with life experiences and lessons that cannot be taught in textbooks, and I am privileged to have received the opportunities that I did while being a part of DMHP. I continue my involvement and personal growth by being a member of the DMHP Alumni Affinity Board.
Joining DMHP has been the best decision of my undergraduate career. In this program, you learn from top-tier professors who are truly passionate about the subjects they teach while participating in professional development and volunteer opportunities. However, the greatest piece of this program lies in taking classes with and socializing with some of the most motivated students at UTD; to make the most of this program, you should bond and network with these individuals who can turn into friendships and wonderful professional connections.
DMHP has elevated my college experience to a level I would never have expected it to. Everything in it has a purpose, from educational/social/volunteering events, to the coursework and staff, to the outside experiences. I am so grateful to be part of the environment that DMHP creates to create better professionals for the future.
Joining DMHP was the best decision I could have made; this program has provided me the opportunities to better myself and my community in a variety of ways. DMHP has also introduced me to a diverse group of students with whom I have forged countless friendships. Whether it be professionally or personally, the aim of the program is to make its students better. My honors classes are always my favorite, while they are also my most challenging. Outside of academics, I am provided with opportunities to network with and learn from some of the best in the business, and I will be forever grateful for all the encouragement and growth that this program has brought to me.

DMHP has given me a network that not only serves as a professional resource but a truly tight-knit group of friends. In any academic or professional endeavor, DMHP has provided me with someone to reach out to in search of guidance or support. In return, I have had the rewarding opportunity to provide my mentorship to younger students in DMHP.
DMHP has given me all the opportunities and experiences I could ever want and then some. I’ve met some of the best friends as well as the best professors so far, and the challenge I get from every aspect in DMHP is something I look forward to every day.
