Attending CMC events built my confidence and skills. Dropping by to chat with the career specialists and experts not only developed quality professional relationships but also sharpened my business small talk skills. I no longer feared that I wouldn’t know what to say to a recruiter during an interview, career fair, or any other encounter. I experienced how the CMC loves to help students who have caught the vision for excellence by providing networking opportunities and introductions to recruiters. I credit the external, paid internship I landed later to showing up, engaging, and soaking up their invaluable coaching!
