  • APPLICANT ACKNOWLEDGES THE FOLLOWING:

The Essential Elements of Accountable Care Organizations course is designed for independent, motivated online learning. As such, it requires a significant level of self-discipline and personal commitment.

The course consists of eight content units delivered at three week intervals. Students must stay current to complete the program on schedule.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits (accredited by the Texas Academy of Family Physicians) will be awarded on a unit by unit basis. To receive CME credits, participants must achieve a score of 80 percent or better on each unit quiz.

Participants who successfully complete all unit quizzes will receive a certificate of completion from the Naveen Jindal School of Management, The University of Texas at Dallas and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. The Texas Academy of Family Physicians is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education to physicians.

This course is offered through the Naveen Jindal School of Management, The University of Texas at Dallas. Because students in this course do not earn academic credit and completion will not apply credit toward a degree from UT Dallas, acceptance in this program does not constitute acceptance as a matriculating student at UT Dallas.
