One of the most important questions students have is how to fund their study abroad experience. There are many ways to create an affordable experience, and you can start by checking into study abroad scholarship programs. Here are some scholarships you may be eligible for:

All UT Dallas students are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Find more information about application requirements and scholarship amounts on the IEF web page

This scholarship fund is reserved specifically for JSOM students who will be studying or traveling abroad. You must have a 3.0 grade-point average in order to qualify, and you can apply by completing the JSOM Approval and Scholarship Form located inside your Comets Abroad application. In order to receive this scholarship, students must also apply for the International Education Fund Scholarship. Please note that students who are eligible for McDermott, Terry or Davidson Management Honors Program funding* are not eligible for the JSOM Study Abroad Scholarship.

The JSOM Study Abroad Scholarship grants $3,000 per long semester, $200 per week for summer work/study abroad programs and $500 for a JGE course.

Visit Funding Your Education Abroad Program for more information

*McDermott Scholars, Terry Scholars and students in the Davidson Management Honors Program have access to private funding and should contact their individual honors program for more information.
