MS in Healthcare Leadership and Management

Healthcare is a challenging, rapidly growing industry that employs one of every 10 working adults nationally.

Healthcare employment has grown every year for the past 20 years, and in Texas is responsible for more than 15 percent of the state’s annual employment growth. Of the 30 projected fastest-growing jobs in the US, 15 are in health-related fields, including six in the top 10.

The Master of Science in Healthcare Leadership and Management prepares graduates for management and leadership roles in a wide range of rapidly growing health-related organizations, including health and hospital systems, medical and dental clinics, service provider organizations, insurers and managed-care companies, consulting firms, pharmaceutical companies, government organizations, and medical device and biotechnology firms.

High-performing students are encouraged to apply for the Elite Scholars and Leaders Program. Participation in ESLP will prepare students to be pacesetters on the business side of healthcare, and is designed to recognize student leaders and give them an edge academically and professionally. Students accepted into the program will have additional access to elite professional mentorship and industry connections to best prepare them for leadership careers in healthcare.
