About:

APICS UT Dallas is the official student affiliate chapter of the APICS North Texas Chapter. APICS is the Association for Operations Management, the premier source of the body of knowledge in Operations Management, including Manufacturing, Production, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Purchasing, Logistics, and Lean Enterprise.

With the constantly growing industry standards, APICS UTD student chapter strives to fill in the gap between the industry and students by conduct events all throughout the year that help students connect with industry professionals and develop themselves into market ready assets.

Career Connections:

Our career connection events help students to address their career related queries in the field of supply chain where students get personalized one-on-one sessions with industry professionals from top companies such as Toyota, Texas Instruments, Verizon, Ericsson, DPSG, etc. These connections go a long way in helping students develop and build their professional outlook. These group meetings are conducted with a limited number to encourage students to build a personnel connection with the professionals.

Industry Visits:

Industry visits are arranged for students to visit the premises of the companies dealing with warehousing, logistics and operations. These help them relate their classroom education with the practical applications.

Volunteer Activities:

APICS UTD is more than just professional networking and career enhancement; being part of APICS UTD helps you get actively involved in social responsibility and team building activities.
