EMBA Newsletter - October 2014

Greetings, EMBA and GLEMBA Alumni!

If I have learned anything throughout my career, it is that the one constant is change. While change can create anxiety, I am a firm believer of change for the good of the whole. Over the past two years, Dr. Springate and I have created a lot of change in the Executive MBA and Global Leadership Executive MBA programs — beginning with a revitalization of both curriculums, improved expectations of our faculty and higher standards for our students. With both programs on solid footing and under a unified single leadership, we are committed to continuous improvement in all areas of the programs, including improving the power of networking.

Since we assumed responsibility for the Global Leadership Executive MBA Program, we have increasingly brought the two programs’ students together for networking sessions. The benefits have been significant — our recent Speaker Series have hosted 80 to 100 students and alumni.

This newsletter represents the next step of bringing our alumni together, as it will cover both programs. We are eventually looking to consolidate our social media offerings, but we want to ensure that we don’t lose any followers in the process.

Your ideas and concerns are important to me — please reach out and share your thoughts. I look forward to seeing you soon!
