Greetings Executive MBA Alumni and Friends!

While change typically creates anxiety in many of us, I find that change can often be good. I was reflecting on Dean Pirkul’s message in the Jindal School of Management’s autumn 2013 issue of MANAGEMENT magazine on the change the school has experienced. Over the past four years, the school has experienced “a 40 percent growth spurt unmatched by any other school of our size and stature in the nation. We now have almost 7,000 students enrolled in the Naveen Jindal School of Management.”

It is fun when alumni visit and talk about how the campus has changed since they were in school. It was just a few years ago when I was a student and the reflecting pools were under construction. Construction on the expansion of the JSOM building has now reached the third floor.

There has been another recent change. Dr. Springate and I are also serving as academic director and program director, respectively, for the Global Leadership Executive MBA (GLEMBA) program. The programs will maintain their separate identities, but we are going to optimize opportunities to network and collaborate across the programs and share resources where possible.
