The M.S. ITM Student Leadership Council is an invincible force of the program, helping prospective and current students traverse the labyrinth the ITM program can appear to be. We are currently an 18-member team who is looking to expand and grow to better serve our fellow students.

  • We are instrumental in welcoming and positioning new students in the right direction at the “ITM orientation”.
  • We guide our friends in their course choices at the “Advising Pods” and help restructure their resume at the “Resume Pods” to make an impact with prospective employers.
  • We regularly organize events such as “Spring Mixer”, “Fall Mixer”, “Graduate Mixer” and “Internship Panel” to give students, faculty and alumni an opportunity to blend in a casual environment that also encourages a good conversation.
  • We regularly organize events such as “Spring Mixer”, “Fall Mixer”, “Graduate Mixer” and “Internship Panel” to give students, professors and alumni an opportunity to blend in a casual environment that also encourages a good conversation.
  • We are unequivocal about our experience in this program at the “Online Information Sessions” and “Webinars” to educate students about the benefits they can reap through the M.S. ITM program.
  • We use the aroma of rich coffee to lure students to our “Coffee chats” where we aim to get an in-depth understanding of positives and negatives our friends encounter during their time in the program. We then work on mitigating the weakness and growing our strengths.
  • We also provide input to the Program Director and Program Manager about course improvements and student suggestions.
  • Our Email team enthusiastically thanks everyone for their interest in the ITM program as we address student’s queries in an articulate fashion and in a timely manner.
  • We know the value of a #goodtweet, a like, a filter, a profile and a connection! We have a dedicated Social Media team that is working to increase the reach of the ITM program in a variety of social media platforms.
  • We are working on setting up the Mentoring team that will bring new students on board a whole lot faster so that they never have to face any rough seas!

J.R.R Tolkien wrote in his book, The Fellowship of the Rings, “Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.”! We are doing just that by being the voice of the ITM student body and the soul of the ITM program as we all work to mold the program to a better version of itself.
