“If plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters.” –Chris Guillebeau

This is my second year in the MSF program, and I have developed sufficient familiarity with our program, our campus, and our city so as to offer our fellow classmates the help and support needed to reach out for resources and networking. With a strong sense of mission, I expect to introduce this program to prospective students, to serve my peers in the program, and to strengthen our bond via the program into future career and life.

“Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.”

The MS Finance program has allowed me to develop leadership and service through the GFMC. The GFMC is a great organization that offers the opportunity to graduate students to interact with fellow students, network and learn from finance professionals through workshops, and serve in a collaborative diverse environment through mentorship by both faculty and veteran students. In addition, the Finance program is built with several quantitative and analytics courses that are designed to help students develop the appropriate finance and analytical skills to thrive in a data-driven business world.

Our goal at Graduate Finance Management Council is to achieve the maximum proficiency for all finance graduates. At UT Dallas, I have developed the financial skills, knowledge and acumen to meet the industry standards. I look forward to working with my team in recreating a similar, if not better experience for all new, current and prospective students.

“Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine.”– Jack Ma

UTD has given me an opportunity to acquire knowledge much beyond the boundaries and limits of a book in such a way that it made me capable to understand its application in the real world. Being a part of GFMC allows me to help prospective and current students to take informed decision that makes their MS finance journey at UTD an enriching and valuable experience. I love being part of this outstanding group of people as it gives me a chance to share my knowledge and experience acquired so far with the current and incoming students to help them make a smooth transition into the Comet life here at UTD
