Pamela Foster Brady

Pamela Foster Brady, EMBA’11, MS’16

Director, Executive MBA Program, GLEMBA Faculty

Pamela oversees branding and marketing, recruiting, managing curriculum, and developing and maintaining alumni relations while collaborating closely with faculty on curriculum and ensuring AACSB accreditation requirements for the executive MBA program at the University of Texas at Dallas, Naveen Jindal School of Management. She has led and coordinated international study tours to Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Cuba, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Ireland, Malaysia, Panama, Poland, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, Uruguay and Vietnam. This requires understanding the economic environment; identifying key industries to visit; building relationships with international executives; collaborating on cultural experiences and corporate learning opportunities; and developing global cross cultural understanding of operations and opportunities within each country.

Prior to this position, Pamela served as a vice president, senior business development director at Atkins, an international civil engineering firm. She has over 25 years of business experience managing large domestic and international projects; directing strategic pursuits and winning multi-million dollar projects; developing, instructing, and sponsoring a nationally recognized marketing and business development training program and managing a number of international toll collection system projects in Argentina, Chile, China and Panama.

She served as the VP, Program Director for a major electronic toll collection systems integration firm, on a $500 million, multi-year, design/build contract with the Regional Consortium for ETC (a consortium of five toll agencies in New York, New Jersey, and Delaware). She provided front line interface with multiple customer entities and managed multiple project managers for the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, Atlantic City Expressway, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She took over the project when it was 8 months behind schedule and $30M over budget. One piece of advice she gives to students looking to accelerate their career is “Raise your hand when no one else will.”

Pamela received her undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the University of Tennessee, her executive MBA and her master of science degree in international management studies from the University of Texas at Dallas.

In addition, her research addresses how the pattern of interpersonal relationships influence trust and spark innovation within groups and organizations. Her work is published in Research Policy, Organization Science, and Management Science. She also holds an MBA from Arizona State University, W.P.
