APPLICANT ACKNOWLEDGES THE FOLLOWING:
The Healthcare Leadership and Management certificate program for physicians is designed for independent, motivated online learning. As such it requires a significant level of self-discipline and personal commitment.
The course consists of 11 content units typically delivered at three week intervals. Students must stay current with classmates and course progress to complete the program in the allotted time.
In order to receive the Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership and Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, participants must (a) pass a short quiz that accompanies each unit and (b) make a meaningful, informed contribution to the case study discussion exercises in each unit.
This program is offered through the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas. Because students in this program do not earn academic credit and completion will not apply credit toward a degree from UT Dallas, acceptance into this program does not constitute acceptance as a matriculating student. An official grade report and University certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the program.
The program curriculum is designed to emulate a graduate level educational experience and is intentionally challenging. Participants acknowledge intelligence, experience and meaningful effort are needed to successfully complete the program as an independent online student. Registration in the program is not confirmed until the application is reviewed and approved and full payment ($3,000) received and verified.
