Biography
Robert F. Hicks, Ph.D., is a clinical professor of organizational behavior at The University of Texas at Dallas and founding director of the Organizational Behavior, Coaching and Consulting program in the Naveen Jindal School of Management. Dr. Hicks is a licensed psychologist and holds an appointment as a faculty associate in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His program at UT Dallas provides a Graduate Certificate in Executive and Professional Coaching for those seeking to become professional coaches and is accredited by the International Coach Federation. The program also offers professional certificates in organizational consulting and the professional edge. Dr. Hicks is currently developing an MS degree in Leadership and Organizational Development. Furthermore, his program partners with healthcare organizations such as UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Health and Hospital System to provide organizationally-tailored MS and MBA degree programs to their internal leaders and high potential employees. His latest books are The Process of Highly Effective Coaching (2017) and Coaching as a Leadership Style (2014).
