January 2014

Happy New Year!

One reason I enjoy the new year is the opportunity to assess our results and set goals for the upcoming year. In 2014, we’re focused on the continued development of the new curriculum that we rolled out last August when the Class of 2015 arrived.

We’re also looking at how to build a more efficient administrative office that is now home to two Executive MBAs — the traditional classroom and the hybrid Global Leadership programs. We expect to create more collaboration between the programs, such as we did on January 16 when more than 70 Executive Education alumni came together for a happy hour and again on January 25 when EMBA and GLEMBA students and alumni joined for lunch to hear former Sabre CEO and Chairman, Sam Gilliland (EMBA 1994).

We’re also going to be recruiting diligently to bring the best applicants to the program. If you know someone who is interested in pursuing an MBA or you have an up-and-coming star in your company, we hope you will introduce these prospective students to our program.

Thanks for your support this past year, and we’re looking forward to seeing you on campus soon!
