PhD Programs Overview

Demand for those earning a high quality PhD from a globally positioned education leader is growing. People capable of competent and original research are needed both by the nation’s leading business schools and by a growing number of corporations.
The mission of the PhD programs in International Management Studies and Management Science is to deliver the most advanced education in these areas of specialization. Both programs develop strong research and scholarly skills in their students and place graduates in academic, research and industry positions.

The Naveen Jindal School of Management seeks a number of students for its doctoral programs in Management Science and International Management Studies. Substantial support is available for a limited number of highly qualified students.
Scholarships Information
The PhD Program provides a Graduate Student Scholarship to qualified doctoral students and generally guarantees four years of support based on satisfactory academic performance. Students making satisfactory progress normally receive a full tuition & fee waiver and a stipend in the form of a scholarship or a teaching assistantship. The PhD Program announces the scholarship and assistantship awards at the same time as admissions decisions. PhD students are also provided a research budget for presenting their work at premier conferences.
