GLEMBA Newsletter - February 2014

Greetings GLEMBA Alumni and Students!

We have great news!

Rhonda Bush joined the GLEMBA program this month as assistant director. Like the rest of the team, she will work in both the GLEMBA and EMBA programs, but her emphasis will be in GLEMBA. Rhonda comes to us from Ursuline Academy of Dallas, where she most recently served as the acting academic dean. She’s sharp — with an undergraduate degree from MIT in chemical engineering and her graduate degree from UT Dallas in mathematics education. She’s international — she has traveled internationally with her students and has presented in Washington and New York on creating curriculum change for global competence. She is excited to be part of the GLEMBA program. Please join me in welcoming Rhonda to our team!

This month, Dr. Springate and I have begun redefining the GLEMBA curriculum. We need to keep our 29 core business classes, but we are focusing on what a premier Global Leadership Executive MBA program should teach. International finance? International law? Similar to our recent redesign with the Executive MBA program, we will not do this in a vacuum. We already have begun talking to industry leaders, and we are reaching out to you to solicit your thoughts on what the GLEMBA curriculum should entail. Please send us your thoughts to Pamela Foster Brady.

Thanks!
