The Jindal School of Management proudly has among its student population many Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Veterans attending our degree programs such as Supply Chain Management and others, are doing so thanks to their GI Bill benefits and/or other benefits available to them. If you are a qualifying Veteran, there are several online resources available to determine what benefits are right for you. At UT Dallas, about 625 military veterans and 100 dependents are drawing GI benefits, with nearly 350 of them attending under the Post 9/11 GI Bill.

All of these programs are available for Veterans, and in most cases, spouses and dependents can take advantage of these unique opportunities in lieu of the Veteran. For any more information on other types of assistance available to U.S. Armed Forces Veterans, please visit the Veterans Affairs official website

Tuition rates at UT Dallas are very affordable. For more information and to better assist you, UT Dallas has a dedicated page to answer all Veteran Financial Aid related questions. It is an interactive page with videos and FAQs for Veterans attending or wishing to attend UT Dallas. Tuition rates at UT Dallas do not exceed the tuition cap stipulated by the GI Bill, so you do not need to worry about the Yellow Ribbon program. However, It is important to know that if you are receiving other scholarships, these may affect your GI Bill benefits.

If you have concerns regarding your Financial Aid packet, you should direct all questions to the Veteran Services Center (VA Certifying Officer).

The UT Dallas Veterans Service Center (VSC) is located at the lower level of the Eugene McDermott Library (MC 1.204) and it is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They can be reached at 972-833-4913. The VSC is a one-stop shop for all of your VA educational questions and needs. The staff is there to assist every Veteran attending UT Dallas. For more info, visit their website.

Student Veterans can also take advantage of the work-study programs that are regularly posted at the VSC or use the services of the Career Center in order to find a suitable internship or job placement.
