The Jindal School of Management awards a large number of graduate student scholarships in both the Fall and Spring Semesters. In Fall, 2011, we granted over $400,000 in the Dean’s Excellence, JSOM Impact, GDIACC, SIFE, and Summerfield Roberts scholarship categories alone. The majority of our scholarships are $1,000 merit-based scholarships granted once per academic year. In this way we are able to leverage Texas-resident tuition status for the entire academic year for the maximum number of students. Decisions to reward students are made based on excellent academic performance or significant contributions to the success of one or more of the school’s extra-curricular organizations, special events, or programs. The Jindal School of Management Scholarship Committee reviews applications and, depending on the availability of funds, makes awards to the top-ranked candidates whom the Committee determines best satisfy the scholarship’s intent. |
