Qi (George) Chen is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to joining UT Dallas, he earned his doctoral degree from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and his bachelor degree from the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University. His primary research interests include revenue management and pricing, supply chain management and strategic sourcing, and online marketplaces. He has published papers in journals such as Management Science and Transportation Research Part B: Methodological, and served as an ad hoc reviewer for Production and Operations Management, Operations Research Letters and European Journal of Operational Research.
