UTD Open House and Happy Hour, Information Session, ICF Conference
By Judy Feld, MCC, Assoc. Director, ACTP Graduate Certificate Coaching Program
If you will be in the Dallas area please join us on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 5:30pm Central Time at the UTD School of Management building. There is no charge for this event. It is open to all students, graduates, faculty, ICF chapter members, subscribers to the UTD Coaching News, and your friends and associates in the coaching community.
We’ll enjoy refreshments, a friendly setting open to networking, and a brief educational presentation that will last 20-30 minutes to leave maximum time for mingling.
To attend, just send an e-mail to email@example.com with “July Open House” in the subject line. Please include the names of your guests or forward instructions to them on how to register on their own. Reservations are necessary so that we can email detailed information on location and parking (a bit of a challenge) plus get an accurate head count for UTD catering.
We’re looking forward to seeing you July 15th!
Next Information Session for Fall Cohort and Masters Program
The Executive and Professional Coaching Program is thriving at UTD and we are almost full for Cohort #8A, which will begin classes in September. Our new Master’s Degree Program is heading into its second semester and is open for new student applications for the fall.
You are invited to join an interactive group Information Session with an overview and Q&A on both programs, including options for each. Our next one is scheduled for Thursday, July 29th at 5:30 p.m. U.S. Central time. It will be conducted on a group teleconference line so you can call from anywhere in the world. If you are interested in attending, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with "Information Session" in the subject line. Please include your full name and location in your e-mail. We will add your name to the reservation list and send you the call details. You may also register at the Coaching website http://som.utdallas.edu/coaching/
We are excited that the 2010 International Coach Federation Annual Conference is coming to nearby Fort Worth in October. We will be greeting old and new friends at a Friday evening reception, and we hope that our newsletter readers will stop at our exhibit booth to say hello and receive an invitation. Many of our graduates and faculty will be volunteering at the conference to provide hospitality and information, and the ICF-North Texas chapter (headed by Cohort 3 graduate Barry Bourassa) is taking an energetic leadership role in welcoming coaches from all over the world to North Texas. More conference information will follow.
ICF Credentials Awarded
We are very proud of all of our graduates from the Executive and Professional Coaching Program at UTD. We graduated our eighth cohort in March, and they already are joining the ranks of ICF credentialed coaches. Our earlier cohorts also continue an impressive record of professional development. We want to congratulate the following coaches who have received a new ICF credential-and continue to be involved in the UTD community:
