Judy Feld is an executive coach with a highly regarded reputation worldwide. Judy was the 2003 President of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the 16,000-member nonprofit organization that serves professional coaches. She was founding editor/publisher of the Coaching News (now Coaching World), the E-newsletter for the ICF, and served on the Board of Directors since 1997.Under Judy’s leadership the ICF grew in quality and quantity, with a greater than 25% increase in membership and a strengthening of the quality of programs to maintain and upgrade the standards of the profession.
Judy Feld is an ICF Master Certified Coach–one of the first 20 coaches to receive that designation. She has been working with business people since 1995 to support them in creating strategies to achieve their goals and maintain an optimal work/life balance. She coaches executives, entrepreneurs, managers, and business teams all over the world, with extensive experience in career, change, leadership and communications coaching for professionals at all levels. . She is also a skilled and generous mentor to other coaches, and an educator as well. Judy is a sought-after speaker at professional conferences and workshops.
Judy was co-founder of the award-winning Executive and Professional Coaching Program at the University of Texas at Dallas, which accepted its first cohort class in September, 2005. She serves on the faculty, teaching “Foundations of Coaching”, “The Business of Coaching”, and “Strategic Alliances for Coaches.” As ACTP Training Director she leads the supervised coaching program, and manages faculty training and credentialing. The program received its ICF Accredited Coach Training Program designation in September, 2006 with a renewal in 2010. She is the founding editor/publisher of the UTD Coaching News (subscription open to all). She is a founding coach for UTD’s Executive MBA Program– since 2004.
Judy served as Director of Distance Learning for the Authentic Happiness Coaching Program which educated 1000 professionals from 2003 to 2005 with master classes by Dr. Martin Seligman, the former APA president who was a founder of the Positive Psychology movement.
In her more than twenty years of business experience prior to her coaching career, she has held corporate management positions in marketing, consulting, business development, research and software design while remaining actively involved in training and speaking. As former vice-president of AMR Information Services (American Airlines), Judy led a team that helped to envision future uses of technology and deliver it to a global markets. She was instrumental in the formulation of a joint venture with the French National Railroad (SNCF) which was an early example of a well-performing international virtual alliance. She was a key leader of the ResaRail 2000 project, lived in Paris and worked in the ResaRail 2000 offices. The venture was a success from both a technological and organizational context, despite complex issues of culture, technology and history. New work and leadership cultures bridging the gap between the two parent firms were implemented.
Prior to her tenure at AMR, Judy held management positions with UCCEL Corporation, STSC, CompuServe, and Texas Instruments. Judy publishes an E–newsletters, CoachNet Strategy Letter, a monthly broadcast of news and articles containing timeless principles with an executive coach’s contemporary point of view. Topics include strategies, balance, career, trends, innovation, negotiation. She is a pioneer in the development of group coaching.

Judy created a program for the Center for the 21st Century (UNT) on the Virtual Corporation and has co-authored a diversity seminar entitled Faces of the Future…Dealing Successfully with Tomorrows Workforce…Today. These programs have been delivered worldwide. Her continuing appearances on PBS-TV focus on technology and its influences on business in the future. She is a 1993 graduate of Leadership America and a founder of OPTIC, a discussion group on current issues. She is a member of the Dallas Network of Executive Women.
