Global Leadership Executive MBA Admissions
Acceptance into the Global Leadership Executive MBA program is not automatic. The GLEMBA admissions committee focuses on selecting candidates who can best complete the rigorous program and contribute to the quality of the class. Before beginning the application process, please review the Admission Requirements for GLEMBA program applicants.
If you are interested in applying or learning more about the Global Leadership Executive MBA, we recommend you attend an information session. We offer information sessions frequently during fall and spring. The session lasts about 60 to 90 minutes. You will hear from GLEMBA faculty, staff, and alumni. Each fall semester, GLEMBA enrolls a limited number of talented, high-potential executives into our program. A complete application in addition to the forms and items requested below must be sent to the Global Leadership Executive MBA program office by regular mail (see mailing address below) or by email to Sue Heiler. You may send forms together in a single packet or separately. Before you complete any forms, please the UT Dallas policy statements related to submitting information to UT Dallas.

Complete the GLEMBA Application
Provide Sue Heiler, GLEMBA Admissions Manager with an updated professional resume that details at least eight (8) years relevant work experience in a managerial or senior professional position.
Provide Sue Heiler, GLEMBA Admissions Manager with a 3-5 page, double spaced personal essay that addresses the following:
|Letters of Recommendation||
Provide Sue Heiler, GLEMBA Admissions Manager with three (3) letters of recommendations. Please provide the Recommendation Form to three (3) individuals for or with whom you work or have worked. Be sure that your immediate supervisor or the person who is most familiar with your performance completes one recommendation.
Provide the Employer Agreement to On-Site Requirements form to your immediate supervisor or appropriate company representative. Also, check with your employer for any tuition reimbursement program that might be available.
Arrange for your official transcripts to be sent directly to Sue Heiler or provided in a sealed envelope from every post-secondary academic institution you have attended using the Transcript Request Form. An undergraduate degree from a four-year accredited university or college with a grade point average of B or better (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) is required.
Note: Applicants with degrees conferred by a Non-US University
The International Credentials Evaluators at The University of Texas at Dallas require official attested photocopy of transcripts/mark sheets and degree certificates/diplomas in their original language and in English in a sealed stamped envelope from the academic institution.
UTD will not accept a consolidated mark sheet or any document not in a sealed envelope from the educational institution. If the educational institution does not provide an English version of the transcript, the applicant will need to obtain a certified translation of their transcript from an educational translation service and submit in a sealed envelope.
|Financial Aid Application||
If you wish to apply for a student loan, complete the financial aid application process. Contact Paula Baxter for assistance at (972) 883-4114. Should you be ineligible for federal student aid, you may access alternative student loan information via the UT Dallas Financial Aid Office website.

Required TB test for applicants not born in the United States. Applicants who were born outside the United States are required to provide documentation of a current Tuberculosis (TB) Test within three months of starting courses. The regulations and the TB document are available at UTD TB Regulations. TB tests must be read within 48 -72 hours after the test is administered or it will not be accepted for approval. A TB test must be administered no longer than three (3) months prior to anticipated admission date. Applicants who do not submit this documentation will not be admitted.
|English Proficiency TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Score||
For all international applicants, an official English proficiency exam score, no more than two years old from the date of application, from one of three testing services is required. We accept the TOEFL (minimum 80 IBT), IELTS (minimum 6.5), and the Pearson Test of English (PTE, minimum 67). Our institutional TOEFL code is 6897.
Note: Completion of ELS level 112 meets English proficiency.
There are only two waivers of this requirement for international applicants:
