SAT Prep Course
The Naveen Jindal School of Management provides a GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) Prep Course and a GRE (Graduate Record Exam) Prep Course to assist prospective students in preparation for the GMAT and GRE exams. These exams are utilized in the graduate admissions process at UT Dallas Jindal School of Management and most graduate programs in the United States.
The GMAT Prep Course program is a 28 hour course designed to provide an in depth 12 hour overview of math and English and a 4 hour strategy section on the GMAT exam design and delivery.
The GMAT Prep Course program will begin preparing students for the Next Generation GMAT in May 2012. The GMAT exam will transition from the current exam to the Next Generation GMAT on June 5, 2012. The GRE Prep Course Program is a 24 hour course designed to provide an in depth 12 hour overview of math and English, quantitative and verbal reasoning – providing a foundation of GRE specific knowledge, design and delivery of the exam.
Classes are held on consecutive weekends or in a series of two-hour weeknight sessions on campus. The cost of the prep course is $250, which includes the course book and handouts. Enrollment is capped at 40 students per course.
Suggestions
Take a free practice exam, found on their individual websites, prior to beginning the prep course. Taking this practice exam will help you gauge your areas of weakness, strength and overall readiness for sitting for either exam.
Spend at least two or three months preparing for the exam. Daily preparation should include answering around five quantitative and five verbal questions each day.
Spend more time on the quantitative and verbal sections and less time on the essay component, as the essay plays less of a role in the admissions process at the Naveen Jindal School of Management.
Be resourceful. Many resources are available to students preparing to sit for either exam.

Refund Policy
We will refund the full amount of your payment if you notify us at least 48 hours in advance of your first session. After that time, or if you have attended any session we will not be able to refund your payment. Partial refunds are not available. Rescheduling your course registration to a future course date is advisable if you encounter a scheduling conflict. If you have questions about a refund please contact Kasey McKay-Erwin.
