Management Honors Program Degree Plan

MHP students are exposed to numerous opportunities to develop as a student, a campus leader, a community volunteer, a professional, and as a group member. There are certain academic and extracurricular requirements all MHP members must fulfill to remain in good standing with the program and receive the honors notation upon graduation. MHP students must complete the required honors cohort courses:

• Business and Public Law (BA 2301) – Fall Semester Freshman Year
• Financial Accounting (ACCT 2301) – Spring Semester Freshman Year
• Principles of Marketing (BA 3365) – Fall Semester Sophomore Year
• Business Communications (BA 3311 ) – Spring Semester Sophomore Year
• Business Finance (BA 3341) – Fall Semester Junior Year
• International Business (BA 4371) – Spring Semester Junior Year
• Strategic Management (BA 4305) – Fall Semester Senior Year

MHP students must have a cumulative UT Dallas grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher at the end of their senior year to graduate with honors.
