Professional MBA Evening Cohort

The Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas offers its nationally ranked PMBA in a cohort format (small class of fully-employed professionals) in every Fall semester. The PMBA evening cohort is only a 24 month sequenced program.
The cohort takes all 29 core credit hours together during the first year and the remaining 24 elective credit hours independently in the second year. The program provides stronger networking as well as career and leadership development opportunities. The PMBA evening cohort students will have the option to take an international study trip together in the spring of their final year.
Did You Miss The Fall Deadline?
Assume that you meet the admission requirements, then you can join the PMBA evening cohort:- If you a current PMBA student and have not taken any core classes.
- If you are a new PMBA student and starting your program in Spring or Summer semester, then you can start taking elective courses only before joining the next Fall cohort program.
Admissions Process
The admissions requirements and standard is the same for all the PMBA programs but there are two additional requirements for applicants seeking to join the PMBA Evening Cohort.
- The PMBA evening cohort will only admit fully-employed working professionals.
- Applicants will need to participate in an interview with the program director.
The interview is used to help create a well-rounded cohort of working professionals encompassing all work experiences, career fields, educational backgrounds, etc. One of the benefits of a cohort experience is being in a group of diverse experiences and perspectives allowing you to see theory and practice of management from differing viewpoints. Interviews are not guaranteed, interviews are by invitation only by the program’s director.
Program Fee
Upon notification of acceptance to the PMBA Evening Cohort program, a non-refundable program fee of $450 (one-time fee only) is required to indicate intent to register. This $450.00 will reserve the student’s seat in the entering class. Information about the deposit and payment due date will be included with the acceptance letter into the PMBA evening cohort. The program fee will not be used for tuition, the funds are used for programmatic and career development support.
The estimated cost of the PMBA evening cohort is about $37,500 based on completing the program in the 24 month time-frame. For more information on the PMBA evening cohort please email the academic support coordinator Kelly Botel or call (972) 883-5899.
