Professional MBA students can choose to complete the degree plan through several different formats:
- The traditional on-campus program, students complete the entire PMBA in classrooms here on the Richardson or Collin Higher Education Center’s campuses.
- Students can complete the entire Professional MBA online. While students can complete the entire PMBA online, not all electives are offered online so there may be some careful choice in elective courses.
- Students can also choose to complete the PMBA in a mixed format of online and on-campus courses.
The Jindal School of Management offers an outstanding educational value, a wide variety of classes, a convenient location and flexible scheduling of coursework and faculty with internationally recognized research reputations. As a Professional MBA student, you will become part of a competitive profile of students who have significant work experience and strong educational credentials.
A majority of the Jindal School of Management’s Professional MBA students work full time and take classes on a part-time basis. The typical working professional takes 6 or 7 credit hours (2 courses) a semester, though the number of hours taken is flexible, with no minimum or maximum credit hour requirement. Professional MBA students move through the curriculum at their own pace taking classes in the evening.
To accommodate working professionals, classes typically are offered between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, the majority of which are offered between 7:00-10:00 p.m.

When I did my MBA I had to combine courses from three different part-time evening programs. I was newly married, had one child, had recently moved across country, was trying to establish myself in a new job, and had just purchased an old house in need of extensive renovation. How did I ever find the energy? But I knew I had to continue my education to give me the career flexibility to realize my dreams. So I went back to get an MBA. You are probably a driven young professional, investing in your future, taking on the same — or similar — challenges. With life pulling me in every direction, I was always looking for the flexibility to allow me to finish my degree on my terms. The Naveen Jindal School of Management Professional MBA program provides you that degree of freedom. Here you can plot your program with flexible course times, take courses online or on campus, and choose from a wide selection of concentrations and over 200 different electives. Besides flexibility, the Jindal School also provides a first-rate faculty, internationally known for their research as well as their industry experience. You can’t find this combination anywhere else in the DFW Metroplex. Here you can be part of a program whose intellectual content and student development are being recognized around the world. And you get all of this at a low cost. According to the 2011 Bloomberg Business Week rankings of U.S. management schools, the Jindal School’s Professional MBA is a top-10 public professional MBA program.
