Professional MBA Online Program
The UT Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management offers several nationally ranked MBA Programs. For students who are unable to attend on-campus classes, the PMBA online program provides access to all the same core and most of the elective classes/concentration in an online format.
The PMBA online program dispels time and place as obstacles to earning a degree. By extending the delivery of the JSOM’s existing MBA resources to students who cannot commit to regularly scheduled classes on campus, the PMBA online program is a viable alternative. This delivery method is ideal for students who may live outside the UT Dallas geographic area or travel extensively for their organizations. As well, many students may be relocated to other cities prior to finishing their UT Dallas degree so this option allows them to finish the program without forfeiting their accumulated credits.
Admission requirements and tuition are basically the same as the traditional on-campus Professional MBA program at UT Dallas, with the exception that online courses have an additional $80 per semester credit hour distance learning fee.
Online courses are offered during fall, spring and summer semesters. Students are not organized into distinct classes, but select course loads consistent with their own part-time pace. There is no campus residency requirement; courses are completely online and the program requires no campus visits (unless UT Dallas is chosen as a proctored exam site).
We encourage you to visit our Online Demo course.
Welcome to the UT Dallas Online MBA program. This program is an extension of the Professional MBA Program. All the admission requirements, required courses, number of hours, etc., are the same. However, the courses are completely online so no campus classes are required. This allows traveling professionals or students not in the Dallas area to complete their MBA on their own schedule.
We use streaming audio lectures, video clips, online submission of assignments, online exams, and interactivity for group projects using discussion forums, email, and web conferencing. Although most exams are online, a few professors may require a proctored exam but this can be done at a testing location near you.
While students can complete the entire MBA online, it is important to note that not all the MBA electives are currently offered online so there may be a limited choice in elective courses. The current online courses are shown on this website. Feel free to contact me at anytime with your questions. Hope to see you in the online MBA program soon.
Online Professional MBA students have access to the same resources as on-campus students. In this section, you will find important information on advising, technical requirements and links to course resources.
All of your electronic course materials will be delivered via eLearning, an online course management system on the first day of class. To purchase your textbooks, please visit the UTD Bookstore or Off Campus Books.
The Professional MBA program works closely with the UTD eLearning team. On their site, you will be able to find technical information regarding your online courses as well as proctor exam resources. Below are a few direct links to the eLearning site.
