Full-Time MBA Degree Plan

Each Full–Time MBA class begins with a pre–term session called LEAD (Leadership Enhancement and Academic Development) Camp. LEAD Camp prepares students for their first semester in the program’s 53–credit–hour curriculum. The Full–Time MBA program features a full–time/daytime core curriculum that students complete in 16 months, with an optional one semester extension.
A new class of Full–Time MBA students begins every August. Students follow a lock–step progression through the program, taking all of their core classes together Monday through Thursday of every week. Students’ first semester of coursework addresses the program’s core curriculum. Students begin taking elective courses in their second semester. Elective courses are offered in the evenings beginning at 4 p.m.
The MBA degree is obtained by completing the School of Management’s 53–hour program, which consists of 29 hours of core courses and 24 hours of elective courses. Students may choose a focus area within the 24 hours of electives, but are not required to do so.
